Matt Hardring. NASA에 인정 받다.
얼마 전에 Where The Hell Is Matt?의 2008년 영상이 공개되었고, 많은 분께서 이 영상을 보셨을 줄로 압니다.
그런데, 이게 NASA에서 운영하는 APOD(Astronomy Picture of the Day)에 2008년 7월 22일자로 떴네요. APOD는 지금까지 기본 사진 뒤에 유튜브를 걸은 적은 있었지만, 전면에 바로 영상을 걸어놓은 것은 이번이 처음 같습니다.
NASA에서 인증한 영상이란거네요.

지구
확실히, 지구의 인력이 끌어 당기는 것은 물리에만 속하는 것이 아닌 듯 하다. ‘지구는 피를 부른다.’라고 뭐 애니메이션에서의 말 처럼 지구는 사람의 영혼 또한 끌어당기기고 있는 것이 아닌가 생각 되기도 한다.
파란 하늘을 보고 있으면, 이 중력우물을 벗어나고 싶어하는 나같은 존재라도 한없이 즐거울 수 있는 것이다.
영혼마져 끌어당기는 인력을 이겨낼 수 있는 사람은 하늘을 넘어 우주를 바라볼 수 있는 사람 뿐일 것이다.
나는 아직 멀었다.
